If your Instagram posts don't appear when tagging to your Storefront

AMI's integration with Instagram enables your posts to be visible in your AMI Storefront, your "digital business card" used to share your favorite products and business-related experiences.

After you connect your Instagram account to AMI and begin tagging posts, you may find that your Instagram images don't display in the AMI app when you open your To Do to review and tag a post. If that is the case, your Instagram account is most likely private. *Note: Storefront (formerly Social Shop) post tagging only works if your account is public. Having a public account also makes it easier for potential new customers to discover you. 

How to switch your Instagram account to a public account

  1. Open the Instagram app.
  2. Tap the three stacked lines (hamburger menu) at the top right-hand corner.
  3. Tap Settings at the bottom.
  4. Tap Privacy and Security.
  5. Tap Account Privacy.
  6. Turn off the toggle for Private Account.
